Emergence of nanotechnolgy and its potential applications opened a boosting interest in mixed metal oxide research. Mixed metal oxides can be prepared in many methods:
1.CERAMIC METHOD OR SOLID STATE METHOD: HERE METAL OXIDES ARE MIXED FOR MANY HOURS AND THEN FIRED TO VERY HIGH TEMPERATURES TO YIELD MIXED METAL OXIDE.FOR EXAMPLE ZINC OXIDE AND FERRIC OXIDE YIELDING ZINC FERRITE.
2.COPRECIPITATION METHOD:HERE METAL NITRATES,CHLORIDES OR SULPHATES ARE MIXED IN LIQUID FORMS.
3.SOL GEL METHOD:HERE AGAIN METAL NITRATES,CHLORIDES OR SULPHATES ARE USED.VERY FINE PARTICLES ARE PRODUCED BUT THIS ONE IS A HIGHLY TOXIC METHOD.
